Singer/Songwriter Kevin Davison of “When Those Sirens Have Gone” fame joins other luminaries
Emergency Chaplain Group, a nonprofit organization that offers crisis chaplaincy services to emergency service personnel and their families, has announced the keynote speaker for its 6th annual Hope for Heroes gala on Saturday, November 4 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott & Convention Center.
The keynote speaker for the event will be Canadian firefighter/paramedic Kevin Davison, who is a singer/songwriter internationally recognized for his music video of “When Those Sirens Have Gone,” a tribute to First Responders who have encountered the effects of post-traumatic stress.
“We are honored to have as our keynote speaker a man who has lived firsthand what our own First Responders have gone through, making him a perfect choice to educate gala attendees and members of the public about our mission,” said J.C. “Skip” Straus, BCC, and founder/CEO/Senior Chaplain of Emergency Chaplain Group. Past keynote speakers have included world-famous comedian and author David Naster and author of the book and subject of the motion picture 90 Minutes in Heaven: A True Story of Death and Life, Don Piper.
Sponsorship opportunities for the “Hope for Heroes” gala are available at various levels. More information can be found on the website at www.emchap.org/gala or by emailing email@example.com.
