Second Kayaking facility on Lake Woodlands to be built mid-to-late summer in Hughes Landing

New Outdoor Entertainment Options

Coming just a few days after we published the article on Kayaking Lake Woodlands, The Woodlands will be expanding their outdoor entertainment options to give you even more things to do.

Hughes Landing will be the site of a second kayak rental facility in The Woodlands, and is expected to be completed mid-to-late summer. The Riva Row Boat House, the first location, is located off Riva Row; just a stones throw from The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

In addition to the new Hughes Landing location, the Riva Row Boat House is expanding their menu to include stand-up paddle boarding classes, 90-minute Sunday kayak excursions as well as kayak rentals with picnic lunches.

More Entertainment Options

New stand-up paddle-boarders will learn the basics of proper stance for balance to techniques for paddling and turning.

The 90-minute kayaking excursions will be led by a certified instructor and will cost $40 for a single kayak to $55 for a tandem. Can’t wait to get out there on an excursion? The first will kick-off this Sunday, April 26th at 10am.

The kayak and picnic lunch packages will cost $60, and will include a two hour tandem kayak along with the grub.
