More than 150 Houstonians suited up for a night of “Scotches & Swatches” at the BALANI Custom Clothiers Houston showroom grand opening celebration benefiting the American Heart Association.

Founded in Chicago in 1961, BALANI Custom Clothiers is a premier men's custom tailor offering full line of business wear, formal wear, casual clothing and accessories. Known for its commitment to quality, personalized customer service and innovative showrooms, this is BALANI's fifth store in the U.S. and first in Texas, which is located in River Oaks at 3601 West Alabama.

Hosted by Scott Bayley, Lucas Fertitta, Nick Florescu, Russell Labrasca, Jeff Shell and Dr. Wayne Franklin, guests mixed and mingled to the beats of "DJ Little Martin” Prendergast while viewing the contemporary showroom and custom suiting services of BALANI’s talented staff.

The well-tailored event included a car display by Jaguar Houston Central, a scotch tasting generously donated and curated by William Grant & Sons featuring The Balvenie and Glenfiddich, and Texas craft beer donated by Bluebonnet Distributing, LLC. Attendees also enjoyed light bites by B&B Butchers & Restaurant paired with sips of wine and champagne served by Neal Hamil Agency models. Jonathan Fiant with Cigars by Jonathan hand-cut cigars and offered a sophisticated, sommelier-style pairing to complement the scotches.

A raffle and percentage of the evening’s proceeds benefited the American Heart Association in its mission to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke, by providing public health education.
