The annual Hold’Em for Heroes charity poker tournament benefiting Heroes for Children’s mission to advocate for and provide financial and social assistance to families with children (0 – 22 years of age) battling cancer is set to return to Houston on Oct. 27. This year's event co-chaired by Donya Davis and Suzanne Coppola will be held at Houston Country Club beginning at 6 p.m.  Professional dealers will run each event and re-donations (buy-ins) will be available. For $350 each per player will receive their first set of game chips, dinner and cocktails. Sponsorships range from $1,500 to $25,000. The top 100 winners will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of fantastic prizes.

Heroes for Children is a unique nonprofit organization that provides financial and social assistance to families with children battling cancer. Since 2005, Heroes for Children has helped alleviate families’ worries, giving them comfort and a brief respite from the everyday challenges of fighting cancer and care giving. Since its inception, more than $5.5 million has been given to 4,200 families in need.
