Robert Earl Hoot, age 77 of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018.  He was born October 23, 1940 in Shepherd, Texas to parents David and Mattie Hoot who he is preceded in death by.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Josephine Hoot; son, David Hoot; sisters, Delores Creel, Lena Raye Ripley and husband Joe; and brothers, Jerry Hoot, Daniel Hoot and wife Patsy.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 6, 2018 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Farley Chapel Cemetery, Shepherd, Texas.
