Saturday, October 5, St Paul Community Church & TEAM Abilities will be hosting a Financial Empowerment Conference free-of-charge. The conference will feature expert speakers on topics of credit building, real estate investing, understanding how money works and how to go from a business operator to a business owner.

"We have hosted this conference previously and the feedback was overhwelmingly positive we thought we would offer the event once again," said Rachel Jelks, CEO/Founder of TEAM Abilities, a local agency in Montgomery County which serves adults with special needs.

Jelks began her business with a $1,000 loan and today earns well over $5M in revenue. She says there is nothing different between her and others starting their business.

"What do I have that others don't? Not a thing! The only difference is that I started and starting is what is stopping most people!" said Jelks.

Expert speakers include Harold Rawls of Primerica who will be speaking on "How Money Works"; Christopher Wick, an Investor & Mentor specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions will be speaking on his proprietary FREEDOM FORMULA; Lana Dowden with Jackson Henry will speak on building credit, "How to Give Yourself Credit"; and Renee Rougeau of JLA Realty will be speaking on the real estate market with her talk, "Get SOLD on Real Estate".

Along with this FREE event, lunch will also be provided and all attendees will be invited to pose for a free headshot if they choose.

"There are tools, tips and strategies that our expert speakers will offer making this a 'don't miss' event for anyone looking to increase their financial base," Jelks said.
