Dads who are sick of the same old stereotypical necktie gift for Father’s Day have a special reason to celebrate. Thanks to owner Thom Bolsch, visitors to Saddle River Range on Sunday, June 19 will be able to hang their unwanted neckties from the target carriers and blast them into shreds. Bolsch and his staff at Saddle River Range are hosting their inaugural BBQ, Bows & Bullets event that day from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Tickets for members of the range and non-members alike are available and range from $5 for member children to $25 for non-member adults. Each ticket will include a barbecue plate, one hour on the firearms range and one hour on the indoor archery range. Firearms and bows are available, or visitors can bring their own.
To enhance the pleasure of shooting something that can’t shoot back, Bolsch encourages dads to bring their neckties to attach to targets to help spread the word of “Just Say No to Boring Father’s Day Gifts.”
Tickets can be purchased on the day at the facility located at 4280 FM 1488, or beforehand online at www.saddleriverrange.com. Saddle River offers a safe, indoor shooting environment for adults and responsible children alike. For more details, call 936-271-2620.
