Local Shooting Range has an evening planned for busy couples, even if they can’t find a babysitter
A fun date night is something most busy married couples – or significant others on the go – shoot for. Thom Bolsch, owner of Saddle River Range, has a special event coming up this Friday where they can literally shoot for some real fun.
Saddle River Range is hosting a Couple’s Date Night on Friday, July 15, from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. Bolsch is aware of how quickly a traditional date night can hit the wallet, so he’s arranged for two-for-one specials on range fees, gun and bow rentals and meals at the range’s upscale Café 2A.
“We’ve partnered with ASI Gymnastics, which is located practically next door only a third of a mile away,” said Bolsch. “You can drop your kids off at ASI for their Open Gym Night going on at the same time.” ASI offers the Open Gym Night every Friday from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. for kids aged 3-14 for a rate of only $10 per preregistered child or $13 per child at the door.
Couples with older kids can bring them to the range and let them try their Hunger Games skills out at the indoor archery range, or eliminate the walking dead at the Ti Training Simulator while the grownups enjoy the shooting range. Every Friday at 6:00 p.m., Bolsch also offers 3D archery that blows the traditional target-on-a-hay-bale out of the water.
Saddle River Range is located at 4280 FM 1488. More information can be found online at www.saddleriverrange.com. Saddle River offers a safe, indoor shooting environment for adults and responsible children alike. For more details, call 936-271-2620.
